Updates and changes to the plan can easily be sent as text or voice messages from either the office or driver. Unlike other vendors the Isotrak Driver Terminal is designed to be intuitive for ease of use and with minimal input to aid safety and efficiency. Because ATMS also records driver activity, Managers have the confidence that drivers are complying with legislation such as Working Time Directive.

The powerful phone capability of Isotrak’s Driver Terminal allows the driver to work as efficiently as possible but also enables you to stay in control of inbound and outbound calls. By restricting the list of numbers that can be called and restricting the voice mail dial-back feature, drivers can only incur costs on valid business calls.

Instant Response

Emergencies arise from time to time and drivers can find themselves in dangerous or threatening situations. The ATMS dashboard mounted panic button or key fob remote panic alarms are both designed to help drivers in these emergencies. They provide comfort that the alarm has been raised instantly and assistance is on the way.

Flexible text

To make sending text messages fast and simple, the Isotrak Driver Terminal includes many template messages so that notifying base of delays or completed deliveries can be done with very few key presses to aid safety and maximise efficiency. Additionally, if a more complex message should be required, the ATMS Driver terminal supports free form text so that drivers have the ability to create their own messages. For additional safety and to abide by the law, all of the interactive features of the driver terminal can be locked to prevent use whilst the vehicle is moving.

Safety first

In line with health and safety recommendations, Isotrak Driver Terminals can be programmed to turn off automatically when the vehicle is in motion. This eliminates additional distraction to the driver. Isotrak provides the further option of alerting the driver to incoming voice calls and text messages should an instant response be required.

Reduce paperwork

The Isotrak Vehicle Tracking system with automatic data capture, combined with the Driver Terminal enables the reduction in paperwork by creating an electronic driver debrief that is available as soon as the shift is finished.

The Isotrak Driver Terminal has been designed for use in vehicles and therefore is simple to use, presenting drivers only with relevant options to reduce errors and save wasted time. Buttons are large and give positive feedback when they are pressed.

Operational information to stay in control

Optionally the Isotrak Driver Terminal can include the entry of information such as trailer id, vehicle checks, ODO readings, salvage collection and Tacho modes to ensure compliance and keep track of unplanned activities.
