Isotrak’s Back of Store uses Airport style arrival and departure screens notifying Goods Inwards staff that a delivery is imminent. This ensures that the adequate numbers of staff are available and ready to receive the delivery - in turn minimising store turn-around times.

Notification alerts are triggered as the inbound vehicle breaks the pre-set geofences set for that particular location. In ATMS all geofences are user configured, this means locations in built up areas can be set will smaller geofences than locations in less densely populated areas - with the result being that it takes the inbound vehicle approximately the same amount of time to arrive although the distances vary.
Each Goods Inwards requires specialist equipment for Back of Store to function. Typically this includes a large screen or monitor positioned in clear view, a klaxon to provide audible warning of imminent delivery and an in-cab terminal used in this instance to acknowledge deliveries.

In addition to inbound deliveries the screen also has the capability to show, deliveries currently at the store or location, as well as deliveries already departed. For each of these there is extensive including ETA, PTA, Despatching Location, any additional task such as collecting salvage and an estimated turn around or unloading time for that vehicle based on the contents of the delivery.
Back of Store information is monitored by ATMS’s Versatile Intelligent Alerting module which will send email, SMS, and pager notifications to the relevant staff should any of the operational parameters be exceeded.
