By gathering information from a vehicle’s on board computer, managers can call up information on known fuel consumption issues, like harsh acceleration or the time a vehicle was left idling. Debriefing each driver and improved driver training where necessary, can make a substantial difference to fuel consumption – and therefore both environmental impact and the bottom line. It also means that training is exactly and efficiently targeted, reducing those costs as well.
