Freshlinc replaces current telematics providers and signs six-year contract with Isotrak

Leading chilled food distributor Freshlinc has signed a six-year tracking contract with Isotrak, replacing incumbent providers Navman and Masternaut, to boost the efficiency of its refrigerated delivery fleet and provide its customers with real-time visibility of the work being done for them.

Isotrak wins Best Managed Service Provider at the IT Europa Awards

Isotrak has won the European IT Excellence Award for 'Best Managed Service Provider' with its ITMS (Integrated Transport Management System) solution for Sainsbury's, on Thursday 25 February 2010. The award ceremony took place at the Tower Hotel in London and attracted entries from more than 26 European Countries.

Isotrak helps Robert Wiseman Dairies save 5000 tonnes of CO2 per year

Robert Wiseman Dairies, one of the UK's largest and most respected milk processing companies, is on target to reduce carbon emissions by 7% – equating to almost 5,000 tonnes of CO2 – now that it has completed installing Isotrak's Active Transport Management System (ATMS) across its 900 vehicle fleet. The massive carbon emissions reduction will be linked with an overall fuel consumption improvement target of 1mpg.

C.Butt lands Netto using Isotrak systems

C Butt this week goes live with the Isotrak transport management system that played a crucial role in securing the five-year Netto retail distribution contract, announced on 9 September. Isotrak has already installed its GPS tracking equipment in 21 Mercedes tractor units, with the remaining 42 Scania tractors due to be installed in early October.

Improved driving styles can generate 19% fuel cost savings

Recent trials have shown fuel cost savings of 19% can be achieved simply by adopting best practice fuel saving driving styles, such as gentle acceleration and braking, optimal use of cruise control and avoiding excessive idling, according to transport management specialists Isotrak.

Asda set to achieve 40% fuel savings by 2012

Asda revealed this week that it expects to have saved a remarkable 40% in fuel costs by 2012, thanks to its sustainable transport strategy in which Isotrak's Active Transport Management System (ATMS) is now playing an important role.

Asda's Strategy Director, Douglas Gurr, revealed in a TV interview for BBC Look North last week (see http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7475185.stm) that the company has achieved 23% fuel cost savings over the past three years, and expects to achieve another 17% of fuel cost savings over the next three years yielding a total of 40% by 2012.

Isotrak helps Sainsbury's Online deliver new levels of transport efficiency

Sainsburys Online has selected Isotraks Active Transport Management System (ATMS) to improve customer service and efficiency in its grocery home delivery fleet, while also monitoring temperature in refrigerated compartments.

Isotraks ATMS proved itself the ideal choice for this challenge after successfully completing a pilot, which demonstrated its true potential to provide benefits across the whole Sainsburys Online fleet. Roll-out is underway now and will be complete by summer 2008.

Isotrak delivers new fleet efficiencies for Asda Home Shopping

Asda Home Shopping has specified a highly sophisticated deployment of Isotrak’s Active Transport Management System (ATMS), to transform the performance of its 800-strong home delivery vehicle fleet. Rollout begins in June 2008 and is due to complete in August 2008.

This will be the first tracking and telematics system used by Asda Home Shopping, and one of the first deployments of Isotrak’s ATMS in a Light Commercial Van fleet.
